Shipping to the British Virgin Islands

If you have ever been to the British Virgin Islands, you know it is nothing short of paradise. Consisting of about 60 islands in the Caribbean, the British Virgin Islands are a colony of England. About 15 of the inlands are inhabited, with a population of about 28,000 people.

If one of your friends or family is lucky enough to be one of those 28,000 people, you may find yourself shipping to the British Virgin Islands. Or if you have a vacation home on one of their gorgeous beaches, you may be needing to send some of your belongings to your home down there that you couldn't otherwise travel with. You will be pleased to know there are very few restrictions on shipping other than no shipping radioactive materials. Just a word of clarification. The United States does have their own set of Virgin Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, consisting of St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John. Shipping to these islands are subject to domestic shipping rates and regulations. Shipping to the British Virgin Islands, however, is considered international shipping and is subject to international shipping rates. 

And another warning, if you look up the British Virgin Islands on the Internet, you will want to travel there! These pristine beaches, beautiful rock formations, and crystal blue waters might just be calling your name.
