Posted on Thu, Mar 07, 2019

There are so many choices when you are planning to move from one city to another. Before the stress of moving starts to get you down, consider these questions that you will need to think through.

Questions to Ask When You Begin Your Move

  • Who will you hire as a moving company?
  • Is there door to door service available?
  • What if I don't have all the packing materials I need?
  • How will you transport your items?
  • Who will pack for you?
  • How much will you try to move on your own?

With so many shipping and moving options available to you when you are planning your move, you'll need to consider exactly how you want to transport your things. First, you'll need to choose between small load moving or freighting your belongings if you are moving from one city to another city. These options can vary depending on the amount of things you need transported from your home or business.

Small Load Moving

This type of moving process is for moving just a small amount of furniture. When moving this way, your items are delivered right inside your new building for your convenience. This option is excellent when you are moving a few things from one city to another city. A blanket wrap mover will come take your belongings or your companies items from one location to another. Everything will be delivered inside of the building.

Freighting Your Furniture

Freighting furniture involves loading  furniture, fixtures and boxes onto large wooden pallets and having them delivered via freight truck. Your items should be protected on the pallet with both one by fours and cardboard. The one by fours prevent your belongings from moving during freight transport.\. This method can be delivered either  curbside or to a loading dock. For a small extra charge, freighted materials can  be delivered inside a business or residence as well.
