In addition to these prohibited items, Sweden also imposes certain restrictions on other items, as follows:
•    Articles of gold or silver must comply with Swedish regulations as to fitness.
•    Authorization from the Swedish national food administration must be obtained prior to importing foodstuffs of animal origin.
•    Currency exceeding 100 Swedish crowns in value, as well as securities, require prior authorization from the Bank of Sweden.
•    Live bees must be sent to the Department of Bee Research of the University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden.
•    Pharmaceutical drugs are admitted only by authorized importers.
