Zillow Porchlight has reported the following moving trends for 2015.
For this blog, we will concentrate on Texas, since it was listed as the second most moved to state. It also ranked third for the most moves that take place within the state. People that move to Texas tend to stay in Texas once they have arrived. A common bumper sticker says : "I may not have been born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could."
Out of the top ten states, Texas also has the three of the top moved to cities, with Houston, Dallas and Austin leading the way.
Reasons to move to Texas may include housing that is less expensive than properties listed on both the east and west coasts.
It may have to do with the sunny climate, air conditioning and the general lack of snow.
It may have to do with a lack of state income tax.
Maybe it is the fact that Texas is promoting manufacturing facilities that are located within the state of Texas.
It may have to do with Texas's entrepreneurial spirit.
Texas has fewer rules and regulations than many other states.
Families can enjoy outdoor activities most of the year.
Whatever the reasons that people may give for moving to Texas all we can say after hearing about all the people moving to Texas is "Welcome to Texas!"
