You may think that  that women are difficult to shop for.  Many of them have a tendency to do their own shopping, so that when they really want something, they already have it before you even think to look for it.  That means that you have to be creative--to come up with something that they haven't even realized that they need yet.  Check out this list of gift ideas for women below, and see what you might be able to use to delight the special woman in your life.

• Personalized jewelry has been a hot market item for the last couple of years. Is she a mother?  Jewelry that includes her children's birthstones is sure to be a hit.  Try a birthstone locket, rings that represent each of her children, or a mother's necklace.  

• If you know her style and the things that she will find meaningful, an inspirational poster or painting to hang on her wall will help her to think of you each time she looks at it.

• Is she a cook?  Consider a spice, seasoning, or sauce kit that will let her mix things up in the kitchen in new and exciting ways.  More of a baker?  Pick up a specialty tool that she wouldn't normally justify for herself: a  special cake pan, or silicone liners or tools.  

• Help her pamper herself with a gift reminiscent of the spa:  pick out some lotions, add in a five-star terry robe, and remind her that she's worth the extra effort.

• Kick it up a notch with a fancy coffeemaker.  Most people are more likely to purchase a simple version for themselves, but a luxury version will allow her to prepare more complicated coffee drinks with a better flavor from the comfort of her own kitchen.

• Does she have a signature scent?  If you know what it is, you can pick her up a perfume or body spray that she'll love with little effort.  No idea what her favorite scent might be?  Help her choose a new one with a fragrance sampler kit.

• Go the technology route:  pick her up a digital picture frame (what better way to see all of her memories at once?), a camera to help capture those memories, or accessories for her smart phone or tablet.  

• Consider a membership to a red wine club, if she likes to pair wine with her meals.  It will give her the chance to explore some new flavors and possibly find a favorite that she didn't even know she had.
