- Lighters
- Any pharmaceutical composition whose makeup is not known publicly or a remedy that is not registered in Nicaragua
- Police whistles
- Telegraph equipment
Nicaragua has also issued a number of restrictions pertaining to shipments into the company. These include:
- Receiving firearms requires the permission of the government.
- Plant and animal based matter require a phytosanitary export certificate from the originating country.
- If tape, gummed paper, or adhesive strips are used to seal registered shipments, they should have a stamp or signature displaying the name of the sender.
