Why do people want to go to college  in Houston?

A few weeks ago  we posted a blog about why Houston is a good place to ship from. We have included that blog at the end of this article.  We will continue to promote Houston as a great place to live, receive an  education and work.

Since our blog about shipping from Houston, studies have come out listing some of the reasons people like to live and study in Houston.

With over two million people living in Houston, there are seventeen colleges in the Houston area. Students do not need to go out of town or out of state to obtain a top notch college education.

The October issue of Entrepreneur Magazine listed the University of Houston as number three due to the C. T. Bauer school of business Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship. This is an undergraduate program. University of Houston

As a Houston based company we hire  and consult with students from the Wolff Center both on special projects and advice on running a company in today’s economy.

The Wolff Center provides their professors as lecturers in the community providing up dates on how to succeed in your own business. One of the Wolf center graduates assisted pack n send in developing our "Countries we ship to program"  This free program was distributed to teachers in the state of Texas last year. It lists currencies and displays flags of all of the countries that pack n send ships to.  This year it available to any teacher that would like to use it.  The direct link to this program is http://www.pack-n-send.com/students-teachers/

The graduate program ranked number four in the nation is Rice Universities Jones Graduate School of Business Entrepreneurship. Rice University

With the number three and four programs in the city of Houston producing graduates, it is no wonder that the city has such a great creative business environment.
