A custom crate builder can be found in Houston and many large cities. If you do not have a custom crater near where you live, one of the major Home Improvement stores may be able to recommend a crate builder near you.
We recommend using a reusable wood crate. This way, if you ever want to freight or move the antique to another location, you are ready to go.
When do you use a blanket wrap move, verses furniture freighting? For the lower 48, you should always compare the prices for both options. For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, furniture freighting will usually be your best option.
Either way, you can ship high value items. For marble shipping, we recommend building a custom crate even when using a blanket wrap mover.
